NG34SW 3 349 439.

Glen Ose, centred at NG 349 439 (Information from W Johnson's Map of Skye, 1824), was cleared in 1841 by Gibbon, factor to Macleod: (A Mackenzie 1883) it is shown as deserted in 1877 (OS 6"map, Inverness-shire, 1st ed).
Visited by OS (A C) 20 January 1961.

Glen Ose, depopulated township, comprises 4 ruined houses with byres and outbuildings, and some yards. Lazy-beds exist on both sides of the River Ose nearby.

People were removed from Rudh' an Dunain to Glen Ose. (q.v. NG41NW 1) Visited by OS (A C) 6 June 1961; Information from Mr J MacAskill, Drynoch (formerly of Glen Brittle).

A township, comprising seven unroofed buildings and two enclosures is depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Inverness-shire, Isle of Skye 1880, sheet xxii). Nine unroofed buildings and two enclosures are shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10000 map (1992).
