Full Description

NMRS Report: (07/06/2007 12:39:13)
NG44SE 121 4742 4336

NG 4742 4336 In the east, lower, corner of a small field about 100 metres to the south-east of the inhabited croft house are the very degraded remains of a stone built structure which lies on a north-east to south-west alignment and measures 12.00 metres long by 4.50 metres wide. The walls of this structure are spread to 1.50 metres in width and nowhere survive to more than a low stony bump in the pasture. The foundations of a small stone bothy / shed measuring 4.00 metres square lie over the north-east end of the house remains. A well defined hollow way passes the site 20.00 metres to its north-east side.
Martin Wildgoose, December 1998.
