NG52SE 118 5510 2142

NG 5510 2142 A massively built stone structure with bowed side walls. The walls, which still stand to a height of 1.5 and are 1.5m thick, are built of massive boulders. The interior of the structure measures 4.0m by 3.0m and access is by a well defined door opening, 0.75m wide, in the east facing long wall. The site, which has an amazing outlook over Loch Slapin, is visible from afar as a bracken covered mound.
Martin Wildgoose, George Kozikowski and Steven Birch, 1997.
