NG42SW 1 4232 2498.

NG 4232 2498 Between 150 and 250ft above sea-level, on the east bank of the River Brittle at its confluence with a burn, is a group of some 25 ruined shielings known as Airidh nighean a Aaonghus (Information from Mr J MacAskill, Drynoch, formerly of Glen Brittle), (Visible on RAF air photographs CPE/Scot/UK/274: 3043-4)
Some are small, circular and of turf construction, but most are of the twin-cell type now reduced to turf-covered mounds.
