Full Description

NMRS Report: (21/11/2007 09:48:13)
NM48SW 21 41259 80038

A subrectangular building with an adjoining enclosure lie on a grass-grown terrace below a rocky crag at the NW end of Druim Mor. The building measures 7.2m from NE to SW by 3.7m within a wall largely reduced to a grass-grown stony bank 1m thick and up to 0.6m high. Several facing stones are still visible, however, and the corners appear to be square internally but round externally; the entrance was probably midway along the NW side. Two banks extend away from the NW and SE corners to form an enclosure against the foot of the crag.
Tucked into the foot of this crag, some 30m to the E of the building, there is a small D-shaped pen. It comprises two short stretches of rubble wall linking two large rocks and encloses an area measuring 2.2m by 1.1m.
