NLO: Gruinard Bay [name centred NG 92 93].
(Classified as Wherry: no cargo specified, but date of loss cited as 30 January 1859). Nancy: this vessel was lost near Gruinard Lodge.
Registration: Inverness. Bult 1826. 15 tons burthern. Length: 11m. Beam: 3m.
(Location of loss cited as N57 52.33 W5 26.5).

The location assigned to this record is essentially tentative, being derived from the unverified location of loss that is cited by Whittaker. Gruinard Lodge is probably to be equated with Gruinard House (NG99SE 22.00) at NG 95908 92095.
