Full Description

This building is depicted on the 1st edition 25'' Ordnance Survey map. <1>

A photographic record of the structure was requested as it is proposed for demolition. <2>

During demolition a surviving cruck was noted at the rear of the building abutting No.3 (see photographs). The cruck is in fairly good condition and following its removal has been salvaged by the Highland Folk Museum. The missing crucks were removed in the 1940's when the byre was re-roofed. <3>
