Full Description

Six Second World War tank traps positioned in a line along the landward end of the eastern harbour wall. The exact reason for placing the tank traps in this position is unclear although it is a possibility that they were placed to improve the defensive capability of the harbour from attack directly off of the adjacent beach where a series of anti-invasion pimples are located <1>.
