Centred 42 48.

NG 4248. A late Neolithic "Orkney Pestle" type macehead, possibly of Liassic limestone, 100 x 56 x 38.5mm with 22 to 23mm perforation found on a croft at Carbost has been loaneed to Glasgow Art Gallery and Museum (LA 709) by N Cameron, of Glasgow.

There is no knowledge of this find at Carbost, but there is another Carbost on Skye, at NG 3731.
