Full Description

A circular stone-built well identified during forestry drainage works by the Scottish School of Forestry. <1>
The well has a diameter of 0.5m and still produces clear water. A large drain has been cut behind the well in recent years and a new drain now leads from the well. Neither the well or a spring is depicted in this location on the first edition Ordnance Survey mapping. <2>
