Full Description

A walkover survey in October 2007 identified what may be the remains of a horizontal mill. The section of the small stream below the road has been straightened, and at this location there appears to be a small rubble structure straddling the watercourse. On the east bank there appears to be a rubble-walled building measuring 1m internally, while on the west bank is a section of retaining wall 4 courses high There is no structure recorded here on the 1st edition OS map. <1>
