Full Description

A walkover survey in October 2007 identified what appears to be a former well at NG 8796 8917, now infilled with rubble. Above it is a ditch to divert groundwater. At NG 8801 8913 is a second possible well, in the form of a choked damp patch surrounded by a crescent of excavated rubble. <1>
