NG43SW 3 406 310.

NG 406 310. 150ft above the head of Loch Harport in a sheltered position on the slopes of Satran, is the depopulated township of Satran. (Information from Mr J MacAskill, Drynoch) It consists of about 21 ruined houses. There are several yards and small enclosures. Lazy-beds cover the hill slopes to N, E and W. (Visible on RAF air photographs CPE/Scot/UK/175: 4022-3)
