NG52SE 6 593 200.
Kilbride was cleared, 58 years ago (c.1824) to make room for the late Rev. John MacKinnon, Parish Minister of Strath. There were 8 lots there, but more families.
A Mackenzie 1883.
This depopulated township, compromising about 8 ruined houses and about 4 outbuildings with yards and enclosures is situated amoung rock outcrops on the lower slopes of Strath Suardal 600m SE of Kilbride House NG 593 200.
