These two huts lie to either side of a W-facing grassy slope at the S end of Gleann Mhairtein. Lazy-bed cultivation is visible across the grassy slope. The N hut (Muck02 384) measures 2.1m by 1.8m within rubble footings and it is built against a rock outcrop on the NNW. The hut to the S (Muck02 258), which is built against a low S-facing cliff, measures 2.1m by 1.3m within a rubble wall 0.6m in thickness and up to 0.3m in height.
