Full Description

An archaeological evaluation in 2007 identified a possible posthole, but the date of the feature could not be determined. The feature was a sub-circular, dark deposit, measuring 0.75m by 0.6m. It was hand-excavated and sectioned to a depth of 0.3m. The fill was a compact, dark brown soil with a few medium stones and several charcoal fragments and one small fragment of burnt wood. <1>
