Full Description

A shieling site situated beside a track in a low col, 2 km south of Loch Fannich at an altitude of 320m. This shieling site comprises 3 structures:
- 2 shieling mounds with low turf footings of a small building with rounded corners, each have
internal measurements of 4m x 2m.
- 1 small structure on the south side of a knoll (on the east side of the track), next to a small
stream. Stone setting defines the building which is roughly 3m x 2m internally.
Two further sites, which may be shielings, exist as grassy knolls. They may be remains of turf structures, but apart from being roughly the appropriate size, no form can be identified. <1>
