Full Description

A concrete weir across the river, presumably to enhance the fishing and therefore contemporary with the dam on Loch Uisge and other weirs downstream. On the south bank of the river immediately downstream of the weir is a section of stone retaining wall, the only such noted along the river. The opposite bank at this point is formed of a sheer rock face.
These two features are very close to the most recent revised route of the pipline from Loch Uisge to the turbine house, but should be unaffected if the route passes to the north. <1>
