Full Description

The style of walling of this sheepfold, with a pronounced batter and turf capped would date it to the early 19th century. This would fit in with the development of the estate and introduction of sheep after Kingairloch was bought by James Forbes of Essex in 1800.
It was felt that this site is far enough above the proposed diversion of water from the Allt an Fhaing to the Allt Ghardail to be unaffected.<1>
