Full Description
This track leaves the road above Kingairloch House as a well built, broad, grassy track with a good drystone wall running alongside it, (see no.20) but soon deteriotrates and can hardly be followed as it passes through the plantation. Above the plantation, however it can be seen running alongside the dyke bordering on the Abhainn na Coinnich, almost as far as the Allt Ghardail. This dyke runs along the river back downstream as far as the public road.
It was felt that some damage will probably be imposed on these features during construction of the pipeline and across to the power station site. As it is proposed to open up this track for amenity access, it is recommended that damage to visible features be kept to a minimum and where possible they be restored to their original state after work is completed apart from the permanent access to the power station. <1>
