Full Description

Within the main dyke of the multi-period settlement, east of the main features, is a large, irregularly shaped enclosure using the Allt Ghardail as its eastern boundary. This is of an early type of drystone construction, capped with turf, and appears to have been built as a sheep enclosure as there is one typical lamb creep. That would date this feature to the introduction of sheep at the beginning of the 19th century. <1>
