Full Description

This mill lade was recorded by RCAHMS during their survey of the Yarrows area in 2004. The lade extends from the south end of the dam at the eastern end of the mill pond. An overflow from the north end of the dam carries excess water into a drain, which runs to the north of the mill and is crossed by a flagstone bridge. The tail-race from the wheel-pit also flows into this drain. <1><2>
