Full Description

Extending west from the enclosure (site 2) are footings of what may be a former building, corresponding to the roofed building recorded on the 1st edition OS map. (Photos 32-34) Only set large stones of the lowest course survive, the rest presumably having been robbed to build the enclosure. Low grass-covered banking north of the enclosure may also be part of this. <1>
