Full Description

This is the dyke resorded on the 1st edition OS map as running NW from the barn (site 5 ) the north and marking the boundary between improved ground to the east and rough ground to the west, although a change in vegetation is not now evident. The dyke makes use of natural rocky outcrops and is partly rubble and partly earth bank but does not now run as far as the barn (Photos 44-46). <1>
