Full Description

NG81NW 1 8496 1702.

NG 84901700 A ruinous, free-standing whisky still is situated on the W bank of a stream running S into the Alt Mor. It is roughly 4'8" square internally with walls 2' thick and 2'6" high, with openings on the downstream and western sides.
The copper lid from the still is in the possession of the farmer at Balvraid, who stated that it is known to have been dismantled in the mid-19th century.

Generally as described above; the still is in ruinous condition and overgrown. The copper lid is in the possession of the farmer at Balvraid. Opposite the junction of the stream at 8497 1695 are the fragmentary remains of a small building measuring c. 5m x 3.0m.
