Full Description

Reed-covered, barrel-shaped shieling with a centrally placed internal division. Its thick, linear mounded walls stand 0.4m high and are spread to 1m wide. It measures 9m x 3m and its longsides trend 050 degrees. This site is one of a group of shieling huts identified during a walkover survey in April 2009. <1>
