Full Description

During a walkover survey in June 2008 the remains of a structure were identified comprising sporadic large boulders, interpreted as a sheepfold. The walls are 1m thick and survive to a height of 0.5m. Other structural remains, a boundary wall, survive to a height of over 1m following the burn. The structure is depicted on the 1st edition Ordnance Survey map published in 1876. <1>

The supplied grid reference may be incorrect as no such structure can seen on the maps in this location. <2>
