A copper axe (Coles' type B) measuring 4" x 2 3/16" x 11/32", found at Glenelg, was purchases for the NMAS in 1931. (Acc No: DA 95)
J M Coles 1971; PSAS 1931.
(Flat copper axe of Growtown/Milton Moss type). Single find. Flat axe, copper, rough yellow-orange surface, broken at butt, thin butt and sharp cutting edge; length 102mm, cutting edge 54mm, weight 215gms. NMAS DA 95.
