Full Description

During a watching brief in June/July 2009, the poorly preserved remains of a structure were located immediately adjacent to a recent development. The structure is orientated NE-SW and measures 8.0m in length, 4.50m in width and 0.30m in height, with walls 0.60m thick. The structure appeared to have an entrance on the south facing side. <1>

Along with other nearby structures, this may have formed part of a settlement or farmstead that went out of use before the early to mid 19th century. <2>
