Full Description

During a watching brief in June/July 2009 the poorly preserved remains of a structure were noted. The structure is orientated NW-SE and measured 6.0m in length, 3.0m in width and 0.30m high, with a wall thickness of 0.70m. The structure appeared to have an entrance at the western end. <1>

This, along with other nearby structures, may have been part of a farmstead or settlement that went out of use before the early to mid 19th century. <2>
