Full Description

During a watching brief in June/July 2009, the poorly preserved remains of a structure were noted. The structure is orientated NE-SW and measures 10.0m in length, 5.50m in width and 0.50m high, with a wall thickness of 0.70m. The entrance to the structure appeared to be on the south-east facing side. <1>

Along with other nearby structures, this may have formed part of a settlement or farmstead that went out of use before the early to mid 19th century. <2>
