Full Description

Concrete tapering-obelisk triangulation pillar dating to 1952, although an OS bench mark is depicted in this position on the 1st edition 25" OS map <1>. The theodalite mount, including the concealed mountings on the top of the pillar survive well, as does the brass plaque containing the Ordnance Survey Bench Mark (O S B M) and reference number (S6678).
