Full Description

Around 2002, a scallop-diver reported the discovery of several large, holed stones in the narrows between Eilean Rubha an Ridire and Inninmore Point. Cursory diver searches of the area were unsuccessful, but it is thought that these objects are still on the seabed and that they may be associated with 19th-century quarrying activity on the Morvern shore nearby, where marks can be seen where millstones have been cut from the rock. <1>
