Full Description

Two low mounds of exposed stone, roughly circular in diameter (2+3 m). Mixture of quartzite, conglomerate and gneiss. There is a lot of exposed stone at E and S, these may be fortuitous shapes where grass has been stripped away in this exposed area. However, this could be the top of 2 cairns (some peat development evident), or the remnants of eroded ones.
On plateau between 20 and 30m craggy contours, overlooking mouth of Kyle of Durness.
Two possible low cairns.
Recommendations: Monitor and control rabbits. <1><2>
