Full Description
Six small cairns over an area 80 m N/S x 25 m.
a) Cairn exposed in sand blow.
b) - e) Cairns on grassy flat ground between deflated areas..
f) at the N extremity of the area there is a turf and rubble bank, 0.2-0.3 m high, that runs N/S for 17.5 m before turning SE for 2.7 m.
The cairns are low and all between 1-2 m in diameter. There are other small concentrations of stones within this field but not large enough to interpret as cairns.
On side of small valley leading down to Kyle. Within and around large deflated area.
Clearance cairns and field boundary. Part of a wider agricultural landscape.
