Full Description

Three elements which may have formed one structure:
a) An arc of walling measuring 8.1 m from end to end, and bowing towards the SE. The wall is made of angular quartzite blocks and incorporates a burnt limestone outcrop, is only one course high (flush with the ground) and is 1.2 m wide. There are stretches of well defined inner wall face.

B) 1 m to the NE is a sub rectangular stone platform, 4.5 m NNW/SSE x 2.6 m, one course high with a mix of subangularstone and much larger boulders (mostly quartzite). The stone is fairly evenly spread across the area.

3 c 4 m from NNW end of (b) is what appears to be a low stone cairn, 2.8 m NNE/SSW x 1.3 m.
Between limestone crag and plantation, on slightly sloping grassland. Looks S and W to mountains.
Possible remnants of field system.
Recommendations: None. <1><2>
