Full Description

Linear concentration of boulders running diagonally across base of gully, 9.2 m NNE/SSW. Stones are somewhat intermittent but clear facing is visible along it

Scraps of copper alloy were collected in gully, in area to E (within c 20 m of feature). Sherd of prehistoric pottery, and fragments of iron and slag were also recovered during survey.

Gully is rapidly deflating. In September 2000 stones were largely set in sand, now most sit on it.
In base of deflated gully, in loose sand on
SW-facing terrace.
Part of field system including sites 98, 99, 100, 102, 104.
Recommendations: Monitor erosion and survey. <1><2>
