Full Description

subrectangular cairn measuring 3.7 m E/W x 2.4 m, and consisting of subangular and subrounded blocks of stone (gneiss, quartzite), with possible kerb on N and W. Cairn may continue below turfed area at E.
Within deflated area, with thin turf cover over sand, near W edge of central plain.
The very tumbled remains of a subrectangular cairn, possibly funerary. Its form and alignment are very similar to burial cairn 71 on the N edge of the plain.
Recommendations: This site has seen extensive burrowing. Recommend close monitoring, rabbit control and possible rescue excavation. <1><2>
