Full Description

Small oval cairn, c 2.7 m diameter and 1.2 m high. Appears to be composed mostly of recently deposited stone, but partly turf-covered stones visible around edges at base suggests it has an earlier component.
On level ground at N end of island, just above crags by shore. Under short turf with apparently thick sand beneath.
N-facing across Balnakeil Bay and open sea.
Navigational marker.
