Full Description

Partially turf covered, sub rectangular cairn measuring 3 m NNW/SSE x 1.8 m. 2 m S of SSE end a line of stones extends NNE/SSW for 3.5 m x 1m. Only the tops of these stones are visible, flush with the turf.
Marram grass covered gradual slope leading to 59m high point on Headland.
Mountains SW and S. Mount Holne at far E and Whitten Head.
Probably part of a field system now largely buried under the marram-covered dunes.
Recommendations: Burrowing and wind may destabilise the thin vegetation cover in this area and so continued monitoring may reveal more of this system. <1><2>
