Full Description

A farmstead comprising a farmhouse and attached L-shaped steading, including a horse wheel, is depicted on the 1st edition Ordnance Survey map c.1872. <1>

Photographs of a "cottage" comprising the western portion of the steading were submitted to the HER in April 2008. The building is to be retained and converted to a store. The photographs show a large fireplace on the west gable wall and it is possible that the building was used as a forge at some time. <2>
