NH64NE 171.05 c.6687 4716
A possible World War II type 24 pillbox has been identified from a RAF WWII oblique aerial photographs (241D, frames 13, flown 1 April 1941), situated at the northern edge of the grass airfield on what was the shoteline immediately NE of the oil tanks (NH64NE 171.01).
The pillbox has now been removed.
