Situated about 180m along a track leading S from a lay-by on the A838 and a further 73m E of this track is the remains of an Home Guard 'secret hideout'.
It measures about 3.5m square and 2.2m in depth. It is constructed in timber and corrugated iron with a stone ramp on the downhill side. A single ventilation pipe was noted.
