Full Description

NM 47087 90430
On a broad terrace at Blar Mor, at the N end of the Bay of Laig, there are several small areas of rig cultivation amounting to about 1.5ha. Most of this lies within a large enclosure, measuring about 170m from NE to SW by 120m transversely. The enclosure is bounded by a field bank on the N and E and by cliffs dropping to the shore on the S and W. At its NE corner the bank overlies a turf and stone mound, probably the collapsed remains of a hut.
