Full Description

A slight linear depression was noted during a walkover survey in August 2009 which follows the line of a trackway as recorded on the 1st edition OS map. This followed the south bank of the Allt Neacrath and rose up the bank to the north flank of Craig Morile. Two sections have now been removed by slippage of the bank but the track can clearly be followed on the high ground. It is more likely to have provided access to peat banks from Tomatin village than have been associated with sporting pursuits. <1>
