Full Description

A rubble dyke was identified during a walkover survey in August 2009 running along the north bank of the Allt Neacrath. At the east end, where there is a narrow level terrace above the stream, the dyke is visible as a low, grass-covered bank. West of this, it acts as a revetment, possibly for the trackway on this side of the stream recorded on the 1st edition OS map. At one section, while the revetting wall is higher, there is a bank of random, large stones which appear to be field clearance. <1>
