Full Description

A broad linear earth and stone bank meanders down the slope from the railway in the NW towards the SE for a total length of c.75m . The north part, a stretch of c.50m, is 0.5 to 1m in height and has a spread of 3m, but the southern 25m is less distinct and just 1.5m in width. There is a gap, 1.5m in width at NH 44336 59990 This wall may be a consumption dyke. <1>
