Full Description

Causeymire Farmstead appears on the Ordnance Survey 1st Edition map (1877) as a roofed building within a large rectangular enclosure. It is not depicted on earlier maps such as Roy's Military Survey or Thomson's map and is likely to be of early to mid 19th-century date.
Field survey in July 2008 found no remains of the farmstead or the enclosure bank. At the time of survey the area was covered in long grass and visibility of low relief remains was hindered. <1>
