Summary

A rectangular building, a small sub-rectangular building and a circular enclosure were recorded just outside the edge of Bull Burn Plantation. These are not marked on any maps.

Full Description

On a steep slope just inside the edge of the plantation is an area of open ground. At the north end of this is a rectangular building, dug into the bank at its NE gable end and aligned 220ยบ. To the west of this, under the trees, is a smaller sub-rectangular building on the same alignment, possibly a cornkiln. There is a roughly circular enclosure, defined by rubble and boulder walling, running down the slope to the south of the main building. This site is not recorded on any maps. <1>
