Full Description

Two well preseved stone-built bridge abutments, associated with the drove road. These two abutments measure circa 4.5m wide and stand 1.4m high. The gap between the abutments is 2.5m. These probably represent a convergence of the routway for human traffic and cattle, which would have necessitated such a wide bridge. <1>
